HOW TO MAKE YOUR STITCH/PROJECT LARGER.
- Some people increase their stitch number or rows to make it longer in the width or height. e.g; you are make a bag and you want it bigger.
original pattern; 30 stitch and 40 row
your pattern can be; 40 stitch and 45 rows.
- you can also increase the size if your hook to make it bigger.
E.g; When using a medium-weight yarn, you can use the crochet hook of size 5.5mm to 6.5mm, if you are using a 6.5mm and you crochet 10 stitch, it will be bigger and longer than when using 5.5mm.
HOWEVER, using this two depends on:
- if you have a particular design or size of stitch then you have two increase your stitches or rows.
- if the pattern or design you are crocheting doesn`t matter, then you can use the second way by increasing the size of your hook. E.g when using 5 weight yarn{7.00mm-9.00mm}
